So, I've been on various text-based role-playing environments for well over a decade now, off and on. I've played RPGs in person ever since high school. There are truly moving and remarkable moments from those years, and tonight added one more. I spent two hours I did not have to expose the soul of Delachiel instead of cramming irregular German verbs, and I don't care! No, that's not true. I do care. German verbs can rot for all I care! Thank you, three strangers, that made this happen.

I realize this is rambling, and most of you have no context whatsoever to put this in, but I had to share before I burst. If there is any alter ego that has been close to me throughout these years, it is her--that is why she appears as my icon, now and then. If there is anything creative I have written or can act out that I want to share with the world, it is her tale. Any insight into her is insight into myself, and into the world I live in.

I'm currently euphoric, the way you'd be after a really good concert where you danced and had fun and forgot all about yourself, or a spectacular movie, one that you leave only to realize that it has changed the way you see the world.

Or, to put it simply: I just wanted to tell you all that I'm really, really happy right know!

As do I. As far as dropping hints to some people in Orlando about gaming groups... After Haikujaguar's game disbanded, I've been in two groups, but one DM got married and apparently won't be likely to run things anymore, the other got all his campaign material stolen during DragonCon and on top of that got his work shifts changed to make gaming for now impossible. Withdrawal. I'm not sure if I should be proud or concerned about the fact that I really, really like gaming.
