The weather's been amazing this weekend. Unfortunately, I'm still recovering from a bit of a stomach bug, and after having spent the day at the Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Festival where Carrie was performing and the Landsknechts were doing their thing, I ended up pretty exhausted and spent most of today sleeping (when not doing chores.) Still, I managed to get the pictures processed. This was the first time I've been to the Lady of the Lakes faire, and first time in several years I've gone to a ren fest in Florida, although I've heard a lot of good things about it. It's a bit of an oddity in that it only runs for one weekend and is organized by some sort of a coalition of local education people, with proceeds going to the Lake County Education Foundation. It was a bit smaller than I expected, based on what people had told me, but very nice. The good weather helped, but the location right by a lake with good facilities also bumped it up a notch in my book; overall, it was the most enjoyable ren fest experience I've had in Florida, and I'm definitely thinking about visiting again next year.
You can either go and see all of the pictures, including repetitions and baby pictures, in high quality at my gallery site, or a slightly (though not enarly enough) more vetted set on Flickr.
