Actually this randomly does relate to the German homework I'm trying to currently do.

• Genet (genetta genetta): Ginsterkatze
  
• Ringtail/cacomistle (bassariscus astutus): Nordamerikanisches Katzenfrett
  
• Ring-tailed lemur (lemur catta): Katta
  
• Raccoon (procyon lotor): Waschbär
  

Ironically, I have no clue what most of these are in Finnish! The exception being the raccoon, which is pesukarhu (washing bear). Also, no cocoamistle (sorry, Kim!) I just really liked Katzenfrett, and had to share :-)

Blargh. Well, got most of the German done in time for the exam next week... I think I can get the rest handled tomorrow. And ditto for Steve & Jen's wedding present. Now, off to bed!
