So, I'm looking for a suitable prepaid SIM for my Finland trip. I'll probably settle for DNA Arvo, but while looking I came across some pricing info in general from DNA.
All of the below have no activation fee, and the quoted prices include all fees and taxes. There are also no contracts, the plans are all month-to-month.
512 kbps: 14.80 €/mon
1 Mbps: 19.80 €/mon
2 Mbps: 29.80 €/mon
So you can talk for 100 minutes and get charged a total of 7.80 euros a month.
3000 minutes voice calls
3000 minutes video calls (separate from voice)
3000 SMS
3000 MMS (separate from SMS)
And any number of other plans. Luckily, there are a number of third-party plan comparison engines, where you punch in what you want to do, and it finds you the best deal. Or, if you want a phone, you can pick one and compare deals. (This typically results in a 2 year contract obligation, like here.)
A pretty wildly different pricing structure from the local carriers.
