Morning After

I love it when it's actually chilly, so you can have a comforter and really, really feel like you don't want trade the nice, cuddly warmth underneath it to standing naked in the bathroom after the shower.

I love the sight of herons finding breakfast in the accidental new marshland behind the apartment complex back gate.

I love the butterfly lady at the WH at 301. Today she was wearing not only butterflies, but shoes with jingle bells. And, well, I love their cheap, horribly bad-for-you food.

I love the smile the cute cashier Kari gives me at ACE hardware, and that she brightens up the day of all the customers.

I love ACE, because they feed you free doughnuts when you enter, and are really friendly, and crammed full of odd little things so you can spend time exploring the tight isles.

I love the birds singing in the preserve behind my balcony.

I love Vince's comforter, which he's unsuspectingly left on the couch, and I will shortly steal to continue my saga of cheesy movies, tea, chocolate and popcorn. (In lieu of working on any of the things I should be working on.)
