Eeek.

Last night was Fun.

Alas, this morning appears to bring Jeanne towards Florida after all. It also appears I'm not alone in getting to the hysterical "I just don't care anymore" point. Though I did buy a new gas can. Perhaps I should go fill it up... I wonder if the university will be closed on Monday, and just when I now will have time to have my brakes looked at before my Blue Ridge trip next weekend. Overall, I don't expect anything major to happen in Tampa, except for flooding, power outages and gas shortages, as usual, but I do feel for the people in Orlando and the east coast. They've gotten hammered pretty bad several times already and could use a break.

Furry Little Critters

Actually this randomly does relate to the German homework I'm trying to currently do.

• Genet (genetta genetta): Ginsterkatze
  
• Ringtail/cacomistle (bassariscus astutus): Nordamerikanisches Katzenfrett
  
• Ring-tailed lemur (lemur catta): Katta
  
• Raccoon (procyon lotor): Waschbär
  

Ironically, I have no clue what most of these are in Finnish! The exception being the raccoon, which is pesukarhu (washing bear). Also, no cocoamistle (sorry, Kim!) I just really liked Katzenfrett, and had to share :-)
