Final's done for me. Yay! The professor said it went well, so I'm hopeful. It was on Iran's nuclear program and the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty -- studying the topic made me kind of depressed. The treaty is hopelessly broken due to the attitude nations have taken towards it, and there's a real threat of a much more nuclear world.
The Special Events Center foam party, where it was supposed to be filled with foam before it gets demolished, got cancelled. Boo! So much on my attempt to pick up hot chicks! I did, however, go to the Walid Shoebat speech presented by the campus Hillel association. This guy's purportedly an ex-PLO terrorist who has become a Christian Zionist. The audience loved him, although I, as well as the two people I knew from the audience, all thought he was a hack. There was just something utterly fake about him, and his answers to questions about his conversion were quite unconvincing. He did bring up interesting points, though, and it was definitely worthwhile. If for nothing else, to watch the hot redhead two rows ahead of me, and the two university police officers who remained stone-faced throughout all the jokes and stuff.
Tomorrow I get to spend the day at Cisco's training day, which ought to be educational and a nice break from the daily work, and tomorrow night I'm due for my Aikido testing. I'm more nervous about that than I was of the final. Go figure.
Carrie did make me the coolest weapons bag ever; it's snow-leopard faux fur, and holds my jo, bokken, tanto and anything else I might need. Jon says it looks ridiculous; I say it's the l33test thing in the dojo!
Saturday is a wedding shoot with Vince. I'm kind of looking forward to it. I'm not the primary, so I'm not too worried, and I get to dress up!
