Apparently I got lucky at the pier too. I was informed after the fact that there were signs urging people to contact the authorities to report photography or sketching of the bridge. Not that it was illegal, necessarily, but... Brr.

Terrorism! Same reason we got the sheriff called on us when we took pictures of the aquarium, Channelside and downtown Tampa, which conveniently were by the cruise terminal.

...though there we were informed to knock it out because it was illegal, and no, we couldn't get a permit for it.
