...for rollerskating.

I mean, I always considered rollerskating to be inline skating around campus or on beach boulevards--I've done that. Skating around a rink on quads, to dance music, with cute girls and (alas) handsome guys doing all sorts of crazy dance moves and flips and spins just seemed so... 70s as a thought. Well, it's fun, and apparently quite popular, judging by the way the Semoran skateway parking lot was totally packed! But boy am I rusty on skates!

Off Semoran highway in Orlando. I doubt you'd be willing to drive that far :-) I'm not sure if there are any roller skating rinks in Tampa, actually, or where they are. But yeah, it was pretty decent fun. $6 for four hours or so, and that included skate rental.

Ah well, that is a bit of a distance. I'll stick to walking, cycling, and randomly dancing when something kicks onto the iPod worth dancing to. :)

Well I will be...that place is still open? Last time I was there was way back in the '80s.
