Good Neighbors
Jun. 5th, 2009 10:02 pmApparently I wasn't paying attention when buying the hardcover Good Neighbors from Holly Black. Consequently, when I picked up the book in lieu of getting sleep last night, there was a double-take as I was greeted with rather nice artwork instead of words.
It quickly became obvious, though, that this was one fine urban fantasy graphic novel, and I personally really liked the art style. The story itself was pretty standard, but well told. The somewhat smaller, hardcover format also continues the line of young adult books seemingly getting much better design treatment than mainstream works. In short, the second installment is on pre-order!
