I was looking for something else altogether, and ran into this master's thesis about wordplay in Donald Duck and translation thereof. Anyone interested in Finnish or languages in general might actually find this a pretty fascinating read, especially if skipping over the more mandatory literature review sections.

The significance of Donald Duck in Finland should be noted; as per Wikipedia, "With a circulation of over 320,000 and more than a million readers weekly, Aku Ankka is the most popular weekly publication in Finland." This is pretty remarkable in a country of about five million! Also, the thesis points out that since the audience of the publication in Finland tends to be older (I challenge you to find any engineering library in Finland that does NOT subscribe to it!) the translations will include a lot more material interesting to adults.
