Cloverfield

Just saw said movie. Didn't like it. It forces you through a long opening of people partying, then follows a few people through a big kablooey event, all supposedly coming from the video camera one of the individuals had with them. I didn't like the people much, and obviously it was visually pretty nasty because of the style with not much of an chance for a sound track either. Pretty much everything happens at night, so SFX and city shots can be cheap.
Also, if you're at all sensitive about reliving September 11th events, stay out of the theaters. Don't worry, though, it'll be gone soon.
