If you consider yourself a book lover, check out the link(s) on Kaote's LJ post. Take a Term for the Verse in particular made me want to get into the book industry again. (Chatting with the University (of Oulu, that is) printing center was cause for the first time, and chatting with my uncle who had just gone through a typography and layout workshop and was showing me samples was the second. Of course there's a small desire to do this every time I see a well-made book or such or deal with LaTeX.) Speaking of which -- why is it that when you look around in Border's young adult and children's books seem to be getting made of aesthetically and tactilely nice materials, with good typography and layout and art, and adult books by and large look like they were printed out of Microsoft Word?
