I also adore Ms. Ansari's name. Not sure why, but it's very pretty.

Very interesting and somewhat long article about some mathematical geniuses in our time and the solving of the Poincaré conjecture, from The New Yorker.

From all I knew from the field of physics a decade ago, the article seems pretty accurate, as far as the atmosphere and feel goes.
