MetroCon 2005
Jun. 26th, 2005 08:30 pmMetroCon pictures are up; they would need work with color balance, but I'm too lazy to bother right now.
I got to see
silvertales after a way long bout of no communication, and that was definitely good. Also hung around
hyanan, Emily and saw Dizzie and Ozzy, Beth, Gabe, Sarah, Alissa, Joe and Russ for a moment, so socially the con was better than expected. Also my first true visit to the Tampa Convention center. It's teeny, compared to McCormick or the Orlando one, but worked well for this particular convention.

Afterwards,
hyanan offered the hospitality of her home and the dynamic cooking trio of Ben, Brian and Pedro, who proceeded to make several kinds of filled steam buns, curry katsu, creme brulee, and made me overstuff myself beyond any reason. I wish they'd open a restaurant, because, well, getting stuff this good in any of the existing ones is a tall order!
And now, back to my regularly scheduled grind of life.
I got to see
