Well, driving back from Atlanta in holiday return traffic was no fun. Though it certainly seemed nicer than driving northbound on
I-75... Enough wrecks, construction and just traffic to slow things down to a crawl once too many times.
Lessee... During my day in Atlanta I also got food poisoning and a nice cold.
The good news is that I actually had a really good time despite all the above. We took down a tree at my roommate's parent's yard--using power tools and axes is always fun!--the weather was gorgeously cold, hovering somewhere between 30 and 45 degrees (F), I got to go on Stone Mountain and see some of my roommate's old hangouts. Also, both I and my roommate enjoyed having radios in our cars as we caravaned back so we could at least chatter and coordinate pit stops.
I hope everyone else had a good Thanksgiving as well, and enjoys the leftovers! (Which we have a cooler full, now. Burp.)
