I haven't had time to go to the movies in a while, but on the other hand I don't think there's been anything but fluff for a while now. As Vince sent me his list of good movies, I decided to make my own. Very quickly I discovered that it would be a pretty formidable project. Luckily, I found that the Internet Movie Database has a really good one.
For the record, I not only count how much I enjoyed a movie, but how good it was technically, how much it has affected our culture or people's lives, and how deeply it manages to engage the viewer on both an emotional and rational level. For example, I had great fun watching Charlie's Angels and Ecks vs. Sever, but I don't count them as good or noteworthy movies :-)
