Portmanteau: (noun) 1: a large traveling bag made of stiff leather, 2: a new word formed by joining two others and combining their meanings.
Example: "'motel' is a portmanteau word made by combining 'motor' and 'hotel'"
Why, yes, I too love playing with words. ;)
