POP Goes the Final Update
Done! Donedonedonedonedone! Yay!
The final was more or less what we expected from the prof. Unless you knew the material inside and out you got slaughtered; what we studied ended up being very much spot on, and I feel pretty confident about it. Essays contained more "analysis" (a.k.a. BS) than fact, but even so. Besides, we got back our term papers, and I did really well, despite having badly ignored the process part of process writing it. So, everythings good and over with. Cheers!
And oddly apropos, filched from

You scored as Chaotic Good. A Chaotic Good person is someone who has little intrinsic respect for laws or authority, seeing them as insufficient to sustain what's right. These people work according to their own moral compass which, while good, is not necessarily always aligned with that of society. Despite their chaotic tendancies, these people are good at heart. |

Re: Hey Leaf!
(Anonymous) 2004-12-08 03:44 pm (UTC)(link)Thlayli and I are okay...mostly wishing that we were back in Japan. It was awesome! Thlayli got a job at a company that sells embroidery machines and software. He's designing various things for them and so far he likes the job, which is a plus.
Anyway, don't be such a stranger. If I do get a LJ account set up, I'll let you know. In the meantime, drop me an email if you feel like it and/or visit my boring blog on my website at www.inanimated.com. The pictures in my figure model gallery are wacked out and aren't resizing properly. I think it's a service pack 2 problem since it worked fine before. But, I digress...
Re: Hey Leaf!
I hope his job does pan out well. Perhaps I can get tips from him on where and how to get nice embroidery done :-) Meanwhile, I'll look at pictures and dream of trips!
Re: Hey Leaf!
I'm not sure how much I'll use it, but there you have it.
Talk at ya later! :)
