I've been hearing about this for a long while, but it was mostly from the petition for net neutrality side, so this is the first time I've ever seen the 'enemy.'

WTF.

How can this possibly be a serious issue at all? I mean, the entire premise of it is just...terrible, to begin with, but people like that guy are the ones proposing it? HOW!?

1) Because some politicians don't understand the issues and believe what lobbyists tell them.

2) Because some politicians don't care about the issue at all, but want campaign contributions.

3) Because some politicians think they know better than the network engineers and honestly believe that this would be a good thing.

Even with that in mind, you think it would just take one guy about 5 minutes to expose the complete, unfair truth to everyone, and get the right decision made...
