Beverage Review

A bunch of pretty people were handing out Dr. Pepper Diet Berries & Cream cans in front of the library today. I got one, and will share my opinion.

Blah. It tastes like Dr. Pepper with the slightest hint of artificial raspberry and/or strawberry. The only thing it does is make the whole thing taste like aspartame.

Mind you, this is from someone who actually spends money to buy Diet Dr. Pepper Vanilla.

Funny you should mention that, because that's pretty much my opinion of the Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, too many artificial flavors. I kind of want to try the Berries and Cream, just to have actually tried it, but I don't see it making me turn aside my addiction to the original.

*although there is a place on the web where you can get Dr. Pepper made with real cane sugar instead of corn syrup... yumm*

*hugs*

Dr. Pepper Diet Berries & Cream + Captain Morgan Rum = Delightful

Ring me up if you want to help test this equation.

Speaking of questionable beverages

The new Green Tea Latte at Barnes & Nobles tastes like spirulina powder (often used in protein shakes) or grass. Not terrible, but a horrid kind of fascination that makes you keep drinking it just to assure yourself that yes, it still tastes like grass. Perhaps the Green Tea Frappuccino is better?

Moral of the story - green tea OR coffee, but no green tea flavored coffee!
